@Catt57 I dunno if they need furniture type stuff or have a place for it right now but if they do and there’s folks that have any of those items to donate, I’ll haul em if needed. Probably a goofy idea but if there are folks willing to donate those items, I’ll drive around gathering em up on the way to your sisters place type of deal. I’ve got a 32’ stocktrailer that I’ll wash up nice and clean, throw a tarp on the floor and haul a full load of furnitures. I live up here east of Tulsa so if you need something like I’m offering, jus lemme know. Oh and it ain’t gonna cost a dime! I buy so much Daggum diesel in a year that my wife/banker won’t notice a few hundred miles worth.

edit: if you get an insane amount of large items gathered, I’ll bring the semi and 40’ trailer.

I'm sure at some point they will need furniture, but right now there's no where to store it. I appreciate the offer and if the need arises I'll reach out.

Updated to add that I myself am not going to be able to make down to her anytime soon. If you want her address to ship something directly please PM me.

And a few pics of the family.

I have a question. Are the funds donated through a gofundme account available to the recipient immediately, or do they have to wait until sometime specific time frame or goal is met? I've donated through gofundme, but honestly never thought about that.

I was going to type out this long explanation but the GoFundMe FAQ already had the answers.

What if I don't reach my goal?

No problem. Reaching your goal is not required. With GoFundMe, you keep each and every donation you receive. Your campaign will be able to accept donations even after your goal is reached. Once the goal is reached, the progress meter on your campaign will show that you have received more than your goal amount. If you’d like to continue raising money, you can keep your campaign running for as long as you’d like.

How do I withdraw funds from my campaign?

Once your GoFundMe starts receiving online donations, you can easily request a withdrawal at any time. Withdrawing money does not affect the progress meter displayed on your campaign. Simply click ‘Withdraw’ while logged into your account and follow the instructions. You can withdraw your balance directly to your bank account. Bank transfers take 2-5 business days to arrive.

I have it set up so that she does the withdrawals directly, I never even touch it.
