Look up the bearded butchers on YouTube, they do cows also and the cradle isn't very long.
That's the only way I skinned deer. I absolutely hate trying to skin one upside down. But moving forward I'll use a cradle.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like I’m building a cradle, should make ground work much easier. This is the first I’ve ever seen one in use.
They have some good videos on cutting up different animals and how to get the cuts you want.
You may have to zoom in to see the chains & pulley but this is my skinning/quartering station at my hunting property. There’s a chain high and another ground level to prevent spinning
