2 - 10lb Lil Butterball turkeys...rubbed in peanut oil and cooked for 30 min per pound at 250...once they hit 175, I took them off the smoker, wrapped them in foil an put them in a cooler for a couple of hours until I was ready to carve ;)

The pan has 3lbs of Almonds :)

I smoked 2 14#rs Saturday evening. Used a combo of hickory, apple and mesquite. Brds were rubbed down with butter, salt garlic and thyme.
I'll do another one Wednesday night along with a ham.

I thought about smoking a couple of 14lb Butterballs, but a couple of people have warned me about trying to smoke birds that large. So I just stick with the 10 pounders or turkey breasts.

I've tried other woods, but for some reason Hickory and Turkey just do it for me...
