Would a 3" L frame be considered a snubby?

My 686+ with ebay grips that I had to fit and refinish:

even a 2" k frame is pushing it

Just added this 649-3 (.357 Mag) to the collection. It was purchased LNIB and I have since swapped out the factory Uncle Mike's combats for magnas. Reportedly the gun was fired 5 times and then stored for approximately 20 years by the previous owner before being traded in recently on an LCR. I haven't researched the serial yet, but it's definitely not an early -3 (1996) as it has MIM parts.

Meet Velma and Velda:

aarondgraham.com_pics_VelmaVeldaPach.jpg

Velda is a square butt Model 34 in .22 LR,,,
I named her after Mike Hammer's secretary.

Velma is a round butt Model 36 in .38 Special,,,
I named her after my beautiful sister.

I purchased the 34 as a cheap-to-shoot understudy for the 36,,,
But the guns having different grips gave me some grief.

The Pachmayer Compaq grips have the exact same shape,,,
No matter what the actual grip profile originally was,,,
This gives the guns the exact same grip and feel.
