A bouncer who knows his boundaries doesn't break the law with Battery.
Id have fired you and let the law take over...but.
I was a bouncer too for a spell and never had to break the law.
I don't think when a drunk is actively attacking you and other people it's too much of a crime to stop him

I had to escort out Hank Williams Jr out of the old and gone Pro Am Truck Stop at I40 and Choctaw rd when I was in High school. He was drunk and throwing a fit over cigarette ash trays! He and two of his entourages. I had to use a 2ft tire iron, his two entourage gents were big.

I’m with ya, a bar back that cannot lay hands is as good as tits on a boar hog! I enjoyed bar backing a few times in my youth.

He’s a really nice guy. He sat down next to me and we had a couple brews together. He asked if he could clean my glasses. I had been in a dusty attic. We shot the bill for a while. When he left my bartender friend that knows him asked me if I knew who he was. I just said he said his name was Stoney.

I looked him up and realized he covered my friends song Idabel Blues and recorded it. Saw him a few times later and said Red Dirt Rangers were an influence and help help get him started. We know a few people in common. Cool dude
