OK...wait just a damn minute.

Are all of you trying to tell me in addition to a gun and all that other crap none of you older farts carries a pair of readers? I know for a fact I ain't the only one that needs them.

Not a pair of glasses to be seen in any of those pictures...

Haha! My readers are on top of my head ... Or on my nose ...

I despise rechargeable flashlights. The only rechargeable light I have is my itsy-bitsy Surefire Sidekick you see on my keys.

Several years ago, I was helping the local sheriff's department on a manhunt. I had my handy dandy Streamlight Ultra Stinger with me. I got about 100 yards or so from my patrol car and my light goes dead. All I could do was tuck my tail betwixt me legs and go home.

Every since then, I've carried a Surefire or Streamlight that uses CR123s and always carry a backup light as well as spare batts for JIC.
Gotcha. I have a Fenix that I use a 18650 rechargeable battery with, but it can use 2 C123s too, so it's handy. Mine's not mission critical though. I just got tired of my kids using it to look under a bed for something and letting in run down. It would cost me more in batteries than whatever they were looking for.. lol.

Well, if we are talking about the average every day carry for me, it'd just be a picture of air. I work from home and don't venture out into the real world that often, so "every day" consists of shorts and a t-shirt and I don't put anything in my pockets to just sit in my office. There are always guns within reach there, so no need to put it in my pocket (where it would actually be more difficult to get to).

I'm digging that old school Surefire 6P. Do you have a Malkoff LED module in it? Or the old 60 lumens factory P60?

Two wallets? Or wallet and badge case?
That 6 P I carried on duty as a rechargeable 9P for a decade before LED's were invented.
At $18 a shot when I dropped it, I now have an LED module. It only took about 20 replacements to get me to do it. Ha!

Yeppers on the badge case.

Any of you guys ever had to reload a handgun in the middle of a fight? I know it’s prudent to carry a spare mag and if you need it you’re really gonna need it but just curious.
Sig 365 or S&W 340 M&P right front pocket, car remote and ocspray left front, wallet left rear, phone right rear.

My primary concern is a mag sourced failure. Id rather be able to drop a mag and slam another one in as a first step rather than a more detailed trouble shoot.

Nice Commander! Love the Leatherman. I had the same model back in the day. The exact model's name escapes me, and it's been 'retired' by Leatherman for a few years now, but it was the perfect tool with everything you needed and none of the extra crap you didn't. I also enjoyed the molded plastic on the grip. Using multiool pliers can be harsh on the hands sometimes.
