I was just thinking that when I was a youngster I always made sure I had plenty of dimes and quarters if I needed to make a pay phone call as there thwern’t cell phones yet. Later on I got a Pager. Then in these modern fancy fancy times I make darn sure I’ve got my cell phone.

And I’ll confess ( or brag) I always carried a couple condoms, cuz I sure did like getting lucky.

Before I retired I had to carry a company cell phone in addition to mine.

Today, I do like most of you guys listed above. Additionally, I do ALWAYS have a pen and pocket notebook in my shirt pocket. (I stopped wearing no-pocket shirts and now all my shirts have a pocket. Or 2 pockets. )

When I wear a 2 pocket shirt I add a pocket screwdriver. Or 2. I’ve got the kind with a regular slot screwdriver tip on one end and magnet on the other, one with a Phillips tip and valve stem tool, and one with regular and Phillips tips.

Nowadays those Torx bits are everywhere. That’s carrying things too far, I’m not gonna add more stuff to pocket carry. Us men don’t carry purses, so maybe I should get a set of saddle bags to toss over my shoulders.

Funny story. Referring to the guy who posted a pic of his mini channel locks. Recently I was out and about and I was asked to take a look at something. I did, and said well I don’t have a wrench on me. Dude standing nearby pulled out a very small Crescent wrench out of his pocket and handed it to me. I was totally impressed that not only did he have one in his pocket but that he offered it to me to borrow.

I almost tossed a condom in my pic just for ***** and grins, but decided not to.

That's something I forgot to put in my pic was my notebook. I carry a Rite In The Rain FI notebook in a black leather Looper cover. I bought the Looper cover way back in 2005 when they still had a brick and mortar store. I dunno if they are even still in business or not. I know their shop there on South Prospect is occupied by some other company nowadays.

Sure, I’ll play. Don’t have anything like @Glock 'em down but here it is. Through Tang knife, Kimber Micro 9, Zippo, bill fold, Swiss Army Tinker, handkerchief, keys and wallet. Seems to get me through my day.

My little Garcia 380 was also imported by Iver Johnson as the Pony 380 and Colt was going to but backed out at the last minute. Little bugger runs great with good mags.

I used to always have a knife on me from about 4 th grade on up.
But today all I ever have in my pockets are keys and my wallet and some coins.
Every now and then a piece of paper with part numbers on it or directions on how to get from point A to B since I do not have a cell phone I make my own map.

I think we probably did one of these EDC pocket dumps before, but it's been a minute. So, let's start up a new one!

Here's my typical EDC. This is just my pocket carry. I also carry my duty pistol (Glock 45) and a spare mag, cuffs and a Surefire G2X Tactical, either in black Galco leather of FDE Safariland and I wear Wilderness belts, in 1.75 inch with the CSM insert exclusively. I have one in black and one in coyote tan.

Yeah, I know...there's a lot going on here. And yes, you did count three flashlights. If you've ever been stuck out in the dark without one, you'll understand my overly excessive use of them.

So anyways, yeah...there's my pockets. What's in yours?

Could you save some money by using those rechargeable C123 battery packs? Or do you use them and just carry the batteries as JIC?
