Yep. The French had the Oberndorf workers assembling these "grey ghosts" until the Russians raised hades about arms being produced that would be potentially used against them. I forget what serial the French started production but the last produced at the factory was the k block. Some 500 were produced from parts brought back to France that are the L block.
Very cool stuff. I too have some nazi memorabilia. My grandfather brought this back from Austria during WW2 and left it to me when he passed. Pics next to my 20" barrel 590A1 for reference.
