Looking for ideas on keeping my brass sorted. I am NOT talking about head-stamp, but rather 'new, once, twice, three times fired etc. I know this sounds like a no-brainer and it probably is, but I've tried several different ways and I still have not found a good method for identifying each different one and staging them.

I have 30 cal and 50 cal plastic ammo cans from Harbor Freight. I keep different lots, times fired in plastic bags. I like the heavier duty Ziploc bags. Each bag has a note with everything that has been done to the brass and times fired. In the case where I have more than one rifle with that caliber, the rifles serial number is attached to the note.
