Love seeing where people release record fish, as opposed to that big blue cat from Waurika in a post the other day.
I know of a guy that may have thrown a record fish back in the lake after a quick weighing just to keep the quality of the fishery a secret. Time and time again when the news gets out, a lake gets hammered with fisherman. This can really take its toll on smaller lakes.

The same principle works for whitetails too!

That is a lake record for lake Skiatook. It says it is 6.6 lbs. The state record was caught last year at lake lawtonka and weighed 8.7
It is a dandy fish nonetheless and one I would be proud to catch.

Nice smallie !! Especially for Skiatook..

I was thinking the state record was bigger than 6.6 lbs.
