If you listen to all the fearmongers on the gun channels these days there is one introduced about every other week.
Sometimes I think they're getting paid to cause an artificial crisis to keep the prices up on guns and ammo.

I’m old enough that guns became interesting to me a few years before the end of the AWB. AR-15s were neutered poodle shooters and a serious person carried a 45ACP and 30 cal rifle. We waited with baited breath for the AWB to sunset or be renewed permanently.
The older generation that I hung out with told me that when the ban ended, one better get while the getting is good. It’s funny to think that some of you were in diapers when the AWB was in effect.

I wish I could afford more mags for my Mini 14 and P89. My Promags for the mini are ok but could be better. Sadly Ruger 30 rd mags are almost 3 times the price. I also need ammo bad but no takers on my trade stuff yet.
