I chose the FRP composite from Flatsafe. It is being installed on June 26th.

Having a slope front in ground concrete shelter installed 6-17. It's the one you can see at the Hwy 92 / Hwy 152 intersection. ($2500) He suggested I face the door away from the direction that water run off will be coming from. That puts the door on the South side. Our lot will never flood so I don't see the need to have the door where he suggested. Is there a rule of thumb on shelter door orientation? I couldn't find any info on it on a web search.
