I love shooting the .22 at length. At the OKC gun club I go out to 300.
A friend of mine has the BMR with steel barrel. We haven’t shot it a ton yet but so far so good. I bought this B14r with carbon barrel new in the box in the classifieds here a few weeks ago. It was a smokin deal I thought. I’ve got a few hundred rounds through it and so far I really like it. Someday I’ll ad the Bxr to the collection probably.I‘ve heard nothing but good things about Bergara rimfires. If I can find a used one locally, I’m buying it.
Yessir runnin Cci standard velocity. I’ve considered trying some of the match stuff from Eley and Lapua but it’s hard to pay what it costs while I’m having fun at 8.5 cents or so a shot.That's good shooting! Using the Standard Velocity rounds for that?
There is a big national shooting competition out there now for long range .22rf matches out to over 300 yards that is becoming extremely popular.
We have that match going on at the Ponca Range on an honorary basis. Go out to shoot and post a pic of the target for scores, leaving the target in the target shed for the director to pick up and officially score.
A lot of people are getting into it.
