big surprise .. criminals finding a way around the law by illegally buying guns.
laws only works for law abiding citizens NOT criminals who are going to find a way to get weapons no matter what the penalties are.

the same could be said for drug addicts who are going to find a way to feed their drug addition no matter what the penalties are.

This is why I'm convinced that it's not about safety or crime or whatever other nonsense the anti gunners try to sell, they just don't like law abiding citizens being allowed to own firearms. We might get too many ideas in our heads about freedom. Can't have anymore battles between armed citizens and the "government" like happened in Athens, TN in 1946 or so.
