Suomi Coffin Mags Question--WTF on Prices??????

So I'm browsing thru a few forums and I see a few posts on the coffin mags.
Both WTB and WTS.

I see a couple WTS postings listing these things at OVER 150 bucks a pop??????

WTF!!!!!???????

Did I miss the great price increase on these things????

Weren't they something like 5-10 bucks a pop a few years back?

What happened????

I could be wrong, but like the regular Suomi mags, I think they can be modified for the S&W 76 and the MK-760 subguns. That could be one reason.

Yeah, I think that they can be modified for that. And I think Lage modified some upper units to use these mags also.

But that doesn't explain this type of price increase. I mean from like 10 bucks a shot to over 100?

People were snapping them up in anticipation of Lage's Max31 coming out. dried up the market. used to be $20 and nobody wanted them.

Really surprised me with the increase in prices and lack of availability.
Weird how something that was 15-20 bucks a pop a few years ago can increase 5-7 fold!!
