She is stubborn, and will not budge from the idea. It's my responsibility to get her trained. She does not realize how untrained she is. heck i am just starting to realize how untrained I am!

I'll add some advice for the SG she insists on. Get some Federal or Hornady #4 Buck (NOT BIRD!) using the Flight Control wad (both brands use the same exact same wad and it's awesome at keeping the shot column together). #4 Buck is much less likely to over penetrate, 00 Buck is basically guaranteed to go right through your bad guy and a few walls and keep going at indoor distances. For about 15 yards the Flight Control loads are essentially like shooting a slug only you arent.
