For rifles, I’ve had good luck with the SilencerCo Omega 300. Using its quick connect system, you can change it to a different rifle in seconds. Fun to shoot subs out of a 300 blackout bolt action rifle. Literally sounds like an air rifle.
I know you did not mention one for a .22, but as mr ed stated above, the Dead Air Mask is “relatively” inexpensive, light and provides great sound suppression for even a .22 mag.
I have ended up shooting suppressed .22 (rifles and pistols) much more than I do my center fire rifles.

So, I think I am going to go with two cans. One to run on a 9mm PCC and one to run on AR platform. It will likely be next year before I dive in. I plan on reading allot and educating myself. I also will rent some guns with suppressors at the range and see which configurations I like. thank you for all of the replies.

I went with the Liberty Mystic X for my 1st can and it is rated up to 300wm with barrel length restrictions. It is stupid quiet with sub 22lr even with the bigger dia. end cap. I bought the kit from gunzonedeals.com with 4 adapters which is where they nickel and dime you to death. I keep threatening to buy a booster for it, but I'm hoping prices will drop with incoming administration.
I currently have a sparrow 22lr can in jail so my better half can have fun at the same time and like Lay's potato chips, you can't have only one!:hithead:
