At least, they should. If you don't like it, form a union and fight it, or seek employment elsewhere. Your employer doesn't owe you a job, just what you and they agree is a fair compensation for your labor.

Employers don't and shouldn't have that right.
If the employer objects to guns he is free to not own them but he can't discriminate against those that do.

HIPPA is one of those intrusive .gov laws that so many here rant and rave about except when it works in our favor.
But unions are evil too, right?
Unions are not, as a concept, necessarily evil; it all depends on who's leading it and what their motives are. F'rinstance, the NFLPA did a damn fine job of looking out for both the players and the sport under Gene Upshaw, whereas the UAW did a damn fine job of pouring gasoline on the fire during the runup to the Delphi bankruptcy.
So...why are you all so afraid of seeking a new employer?

They are saying they shouldn't have to.
When an employer hires someone he buys their services, not their rights.
That last sentence is the money shot.
Also, you can tell who hasn't had to do any job searching lately, in this economy.
Correct. And when you hire on with a company you accept their terms.
Seems the more we get the less business grows the more government gets involved, but yes obviously some things should be regulated and are.
This country was around ( and a lot better) before the affordable care act.
Now you are getting it. At least on most gun boards. And especially the ones in red states.
