I may have to sneak back to Lilley's this Fall.
A little slow but here is my trip report.
The family and I fished just below the fishery at Roaring Rivers Saturday and Sunday and had a great time. It was very kid friendly, the campgrounds and store/fly shop were great. A little crowded but very nice. That got my wife and boys their fix so once we got to Branson I was good to go! Sunday afternoon we drove to Big Cedar.
I was only able to get out once on Tanneycomo but we did end up calling Lilley's and getting a guide. Chuck Grice, he was great. He had a Tracker style boat and we chose fly rods although if I had it to do over, I'd probably go with spinning rods drifting from the boat like that.
We kept a 3 man limit and threw a bunch back. I had the biggest and the most fish (of course) and we all had a blast.
Also had a mother and two juvenile Bald Eagles hanging out over us all morning. Pretty cool!
