Texas law requiring some drunken drivers to pay child support goes into effect

Texas House Bill 393, or Bentley's Law, went into effect Friday. The legislation mandates drunken drivers who kill a child’s parent or guardian in a crash to pay child support.

How bad would you feel if you accidentally killed someone because you were being stupid.

Now think about the child and him/her knowing you killed the parents.
Would that child have deep hatred towards you and think F your money it is murderer money and it doesn't pay for what you did.

I can see some real psychological issues here.
Would just be terrible to have done that.

A child without parents is a sad thing, especially if there are no other family member that would take the child into their homes. A "nobody wants me child."
