Houses and rent cost more today..auto parts cost 2 to 3 times what they did 10 years ago. have you had to purchase a car battery recently.
Used to be 45 bucks for a really great one 10 years ago.. 90 now or more.

$100 does not buy you squat today.. well it may buy you squat,, but i never paid for that so i do not know the going price.

Modern printers are so good anymore, its easy to pass bogus $100 bills to unknowing store clerks that are busy. That's my thinking if they do away with it.

Say what? I've always got at least 8 $100 bills in my money clip. I like to buy, sell and trade lots of stuff and junk. Most individuals don't take credit cards.
