Excerpt from her nonsensical rant.

"The question that I would pose to the senior senator from California is would she deem it consistent with the Bill of Rights for Congress to engage in the same endeavor that we are contemplating doing with the Second Amendment in the context of the First or Fourth Amendment?" Cruz asked.
"I'm not a sixth grader," Feinstein said in response. "Senator, I've been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in, I saw people shot. I've looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I've seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered."

Huh????

She says the part in red like its a good thing. "I am a life long politician so I know about these things more than you plebs!" Screw you, you crazy old bat! :finger:

Cruz's question to her was respectful and was not condecending, so I can't figure out why Feinstein had to come up with the "six grader" comment.
Of course, most of the babble that comes from this women doesn't make much sense. Why oh why do the American people have to pay for the mistakes of Californians?

Don't throw the baby with the bathwater. I'm a cali native, but I've been lucky enough to get the F' out. Sadly, there are a lot of people who think like her, which i've never understood.

How does an imploding bullet work?
Black holes man, black holes.

That or the great sucking sound of an old windbag... ;)

According to Breitbart this morning, http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2013/03/19/Hasta-La-Vista-Assault-Weapon-Ban, the AWB with its ban list is DOA on the Senate floor.

FTA: After a meeting yesterday with Harry Reid (D-NV), Sen. Dianne Feinstein learned that her controversial assault weapons ban mess will not be part of the gun control bill package heading to the senate floor next month.

The AWB could be offered up as an amendment, but the bill was already considered a long shot, as senate democrats will be facing a competitive election cycle for 2014. Many face constituents back home who do not support such legislation.

“My understanding is it will not be [part of the base bill],” Feinstein said. “It will be separate.”

Asked if she were concerned about the decision, Feinstein paused and said, “Sure. I would like to [see the bill moved], but the leader has decided not to do it.”

“You will have to ask him [Reid],” she said, when asked why the decision was made.

Democrat insiders say the universal background check, supported only by Democrats, will not head to the floor either.

Now would be the time to be especially observant, IMO, as various chicanery and legislative flimflammery becomes the modus operandi for the grabbers.
