Actually that is exactly what it means, what you fail to realize is that electing republicans did not mean "we the people" prefer them, it only meant we are tired of A(or rather D), so lets give B(or rather R) a try because we are too inept or lazy to actually decide on a good C(or rather I); continuing the bipartisan tug of war that the big two have us locked in.
The Dems didn't lose because the people are happier with the Rep's, they lost because the people are actually tired of the Dem's. It is a vicious, and mindnumblingly painful cycle....

WTF are you talking about. Your idol does an executive order and the house does not fund it. Checks and balances just like the founding fathers designed it.

On another note, the party of "old white guys" elected an 18 year old young lady to the state house in WV last night to go along with the other women and minorities. The libs reacted as expected.
