The US as we know it is nearly done as it was for the USSR twenty some odd years ago. And you guys ridiculed me when I said the Constitution was dead.

Anyways, I look forward to being a part of the new nation of Oklaexas. Should be interesting. :)

RRSA (Then Red River States of America) - Then we could add surrounding states to the new union(NM, AK, LA)

AK is Alaska. AR is Arkansas. :)

If one studies past nation states, many were founded on geography, culture and language. Rivers, seas, oceans, mountain ranges and other topographical features dictated their boundaries. They in essence are what I consider "natural nations", unlike today's modern state where lines are drawn in straight lines on maps without regard to geography, culture and language. I'm sure the new nation of Oklaexas will have boundary shifts as a result to include or exclude the morons surrounding us. I'm sure deportation of said morons will be a priority. And of course we'll likely have an influx of liberty minded refugees.

Out in the woods.
From all the anti gun media folks that say that anyone belonging to the NRA, or refused to turn in their guns should be shot dead and the president of the NRA and Speaker of the House should be tied to a truck and drug behind till dead, I'd say that if a civil war breaks out will be if congress does not pass a gun ban. The anti's are so worked up right now that they'll explode into mass violence directed at gun owners (didn't say they was smart!) and still place blame for everything bad on the gun and NRA wacko's.

I think it is much more likely that any civil war would be instigated by the leeches when they are finally cut off when we run out of money to feed, house, clothe, indoctrinate, etc., etc. them. They will take to the streets to demand more of that sweet milk from the government teat. Think occupy on a much larger scale. Having been raised on the assumption that the government is your father and will provide for you is the seed of our destruction. People with a love of liberty and human rights will become the scapegoats of the nations "decline" and will be targeted relentlessly on a scale which makes our current predicament pale in comparison.

If that happens independent, self sufficient peoples with the means to protect and defend themselves may very probably find the government and the unwashed masses who cling to the socialist ideal coming for us.

Here is the catalyst. The tipping point to the side of failure has been passed. More than 50% of the US population is beholden to the.gov for sustainment, in one way or the other.

The only civil war in American history was literally decades in the making, arguably as far back as the Three-Fifths Compromise. A great deal of blood was shed long before 1861 ("Bloody Kansas" was not a term first used by a Brit complaining about the wind in Kansas), and the political in-fightning (which meant actual FIGHTING in some sessions of Congress) was long and protracted. John Brown raided Harper's Ferry with the fervent hope that fellow Free-Soilers would rise up and take arms in his support. He was mistaken, despite the fact that such tensions had been rising for years. It takes a short-sighted view of history to be believe that this nation is at "the tipping point", or that it is anywhere near another American Civil War.
