20+ years ago we represented a young man who had an AD out there. We also declined a case against the show some years back. Wouldn’t take a case against someone I liked and respected so much. Joe was a great man, and really did a lot for the shooting/hunting/collecting communities. I miss talking with him (and him busting my chops). Really glad they are carrying on and wish them every success.

Or inadvertent trigger pull, as that’s the only way to make it go bang.

I have been to 2 shows where stupidity happened.

1. Man and his son were at a Dealer table. Son pointed at a rifle. Man asked to see it. Dealer handed him the rifle, did not check. Man takes rifle, did not check. Is pointing at ceiling and asked about trigger pull. Dealer tells him, "it is GREAT, try it."

BANG!

ALL were escorted out.

2. Man walks up to table, picks up a .357 DA revolver. Looks it over. Checks lock up and tightness. Swings cylinder out, reaches in pocket, loads a round and shoots ceiling.

Escorted out in cuffs.

Stupid is rampant and everywhere. Do not lower your guard.
I have gone to many gun shows and continue to attend. I rarely see anybody clear a gun, customer or seller.
Complacency kills. I can and have been guilty of same. Something I am getting better at.
