Can someone explain what happened between Lori and Rick?

I know Shane slept with Lori and Rick is the supposed father of lori's baby, also that Carl shot Shane so Rick didn't get bitten last season, but I don't understand the hateful undertones. Any help?

Yes, Lori shacked up with Shane after the balloon went up and she thought Rick was dead. Rick sort of got over that after the reunion, but later Lori tried to play both sides and hedge her bets in the event Shane overthrew Rick as the defacto leader of the group. When it was becoming clear that Shane was increasingly unstable, she tried to motivate Rick to kill Shane. Then, when Rick actually had to kill Shane in self-defense, she threw attitude and pulled away from Rick in horror when she found out.

In other words: Despite their marriage and history, Rick's too busy trying to keep everyone alive to deal exclusively with her sh$t.

Lori is a fairly horrible human being.

I am digging this season. The first episode was great. The second was good. Daryl is still definitely my favorite character with his classic one liners ability to utilize (un)common sense.

It did drive me a little nuts about the whole figuring out that they had to go under the helmets to kill the tactical zombies. That was really one of the dummest tv moments ever for this show. "Why can't I kill this zombie by smacking it in the helmet with a piece of rebar?"... 10 minutes later doing the same thing "Eurika, if you go under the helmet they die. What kind of sorcery is this?"

The amount of time they spent on the farm last season I thought they'd never make it to the prison. They definitely advanced the story along. Well played Mr. Kirkman. :yelclap:

spoiler alert

I wonder if the prisoner that we didn't see get killed will cause some serious grief to the group (as was the case in the comics). And I don't trust the all-to-friendly prisoner. Something smells fishy...

Ok GREAT!!! I appreciate that, I don't read my wife's quiet queues when she is unhappy, so I completely missed in the series. I watch for the zombie killing and strategy planning!

There is nothing more I'd like to see than how the group handles Merle rejoining them.

On the Talking Dead, they asked how will Daryll react when he learns that Merle is still alive........stay with the group or want to be with his brother? I think he will stay with the group but he will definetely be torn over it.

I watch Talking Dead to see who's on as guests - they have some great ones at times. Can't stand the host, though - he acts like a freshman attending his first senior kegger and trying to be cool but still can't believe he's there and deathly afraid someone will see through him and kick him out before the togas come out.
