I think if a person were in great physical condition and could keep a clear head, dealing with the walkers would not be that big a deal as long as you didn't get hemmed in someplace or over run by a lot of them. They don't seem especially fast or strong. Of course, my fat ass would have been zombie bait as slow as I move (on the other hand, my PS 90 and ten 50 round mags could put a bunch down).

What do you think the military response would be?

Do you guys think what happens to Rick in the comics at Woodbury, will happen on the show? Also what about Lori and Judith, think that will happen in the show? I don't think either thing will, but that's just me.

No, I don't think Rick will lose his hand...they've already got one character sans hand and adding another would be too gimmicky. The special effects are also cumbersome. I think they will leave it out....it adds nothing to the story really.

I agree, I also don't think the network will allow it. Rick is the hero, people don't want to see the hero handicapped. I think AMC will worry too much about losing viewers to an ugly event that happens in the comic, especially since they were still human and not monsters.

Idk. Rick with a hatchet hand ala Merle's bayonet hand would be about the most badass thing they could do.
