Two people with drawn guns on Merle and he still manages to pull a 1911 and subdue them both? WTF???

He sure drew on Gargiulo pretty quick.

Merle's not the bad a$$ he wants everyone to think he is - he sure backed off of going after Michonne! "She'll die out there anyway." Lol! He was scared to death of fighting her; as well he should be.

He is and should be afraid of Michone. He has encountered her twice now. She was out gunned and out manned and still got the drop on him. I think that boot to the pills is what really drove the message home for Merle. Don't want nothing to do with Michone.

Hate to say it, with that kind of previous experience with Merle in that encounter he would be dead and I would have went on with what I was doing without losing sleep. I mean jesh, just last season they showed Rick killing the 2 guys in the bar when he was in there with Doc and they threatened them.

After a little bit of the surprise to see him wore off, I'd have put Merle down instantly. No talking would have been necessary. Glen knows what kind of sociopath Merle is and that he has it in for Rick. Glen has a lot more to lose now then he did previously. I think that message will be driven home to him in the coming episode and will will see a new and improved Glen because of it. Its too bad Maggie will have to suffer because of Glen's recklessness.

But hey, at least they've figured out an easy way to traverse around in the ZPAW. Smear zombie funk on yourself and walk around as stoic as possible (ie Michone).

Ummmm we figured that out in the first season back in Atlanta. I've always wondered why they don't use it more often.

I think glen was thinking about Darryl, not himself. That's his friend's brother, I don't think glen really thought that merle would kill them.

They didn't seem to have as much success with it back then. I wonder if we will find out it has more to do with the guts than blood and flesh. That did seem to be all guts smeared on michone.
