They didn't seem to have as much success with it back then. I wonder if we will find out it has more to do with the guts than blood and flesh. That did seem to be all guts smeared on michone.

I think they haven't used it more often because who wants to be perpetually coated in zombie goo. They used it in a very specific instance while in Atlanta, as did Michonne when she walked up to the fence. It's good for limited use, but wouldn't want it on me 24/7.

If you watch the webisodes on talking dead.com they tie in a few things. Season 2 webisodes showed how we got the zombie lady in the park from episode 1 that Rick goes back to kill. They are kinda cool to watch.

^^^^exactly.

I think glen was thinking about Darryl, not himself. That's his friend's brother, I don't think glen really thought that merle would kill them.

Don't think so. Rewatched the episode last night to check.

Glen just plain isn't a killer (other than in an immediate SD situation). Either he's a damn good actor and sent that vibe out with the look on his face and in his eyes that he wasn't up to blowing Merle into the afterlife or he's a really crummy actor and just lucked out.

Didn't have much to do with Merle being Daryl's brother - had to do with Glen not having a practical streak combined with sheephood pre-apocalypse.

I noticed something in the beginning of the episode. A guy manning the walls of the town had a rifle, but the rifles barrel seemed to be bent at a 45 degree angle.
