I still think the the Flu was engineered by the Governors buddy (Milton?) who was experimenting on the walkers on the earlier season. That group of people was infected and left behind knowing that Rick would take them in.

I also think that the person feeding rats to the walkers is the little girl who was upset that the walker with the "Erick" name tag was dead right after her dad died.

I agree that the person feeding the rats is probably one of the kids.

I don't think that Milton had the medical or scientific knowledge to develop a strain of flu and/or isolate it and infect a target population. Especially with something that wouldn't show until 6 months after infection.

There are walkers outside of the wire that show signs of the flu.

OKay so Maggie and Glenn are in the watch tower all night, but they don't see a light at the fence and the the Zombies being fed rats. Strange.

Also if I lived in a zompoc I would NEVER leave a door open where I was sleeping. Dumb move.

Good episode if you can get past all the strange behavior. Seems like they are getting a little lax with security.

Decent episode.

I think Glenn or Maggie will die this season. Relationships don't end well in "The Walking Dead" world, and Glenn taking the picture of Maggie just set off red flags in my head.

I'd like to think Lizzie (the older girl who lost her father) is the one feeding the walkers at the gate, but when they showed the scene it seemed the person doing the feeding is as tall as an average adult, due to the height the flashlight was being held and where the rat was dangling from.

I think the person(s) responsible for the death of Karen and the other possibly-sick-with-the-flu person is someone we haven't met before. There are so many people in the prison now, it's tough to get a grasp on who is who.

Some fans think Lizzie killed them, using the knife Carol gave her and wanting to eradicate the sickness that led to her father being killed. While I can see that happening, and though we know Lizzie is "messed up," I just don't see a young girl overpowering two adults, killing them and dragging their bodies out to be set ablaze.

However, if Lizzie is the killer, I could see it playing out like the incident between Billy and Ben in the comic book series. Both of them were brothers and, when their parents died, Dale and Andrea began taking care of them. However... (spoilers below, highlight to read)

Ben is a little sociopath and ends up murdering Billy, with a knife. When it's found out, Ben is locked away from everyone else while the adults decide what to do with him. Carl sneaks in to where Ben is and kills Ben. Here's a link to a picture of Ben at his brother's murder scene: http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110218182743/walkingdead/images/a/ac/Billys_death.jpg (that link isn't too spoilerish)

So, I think there's a killer amidst the survivors of Woodbury. The show's writers might be using a couple of characters from the comics to push this story forward, namely Thomas Richards and/or Chris.

But there's also the theory that Karen is the Governor's mole, and the Governor somehow still has Karen's son, Noah. We never see him die, or escape Woodbury, so I suppose it's possible. The Gov somehow reaches out to Karen and uses her son to force her to feed the walkers at the fence, and kill whomever she can on the inside. Karen is the only character seen with a flashlight this past episode... But it could be a red herring.

The flashlight may have looked like it was tall, but we don't have any real reference point. Watching talking dead last night, I felt like Greg Nicotero's reaction may have confirmed the question of lizzie.

The next episode is going to be sick. 7500 walkers with michonne, Darryl, tyrone and one other, maybe glenn? in a car. Hell yes. They said that this season is going to be a lot of death, and a crap-ton more zombies.

I am liking all the good old fashioned killing.

You may be right. Lizzie may be the one feeding the zombies. I remember the little sister telling carol "She is messed up, NOT weak". Maybe the little knows.

I also thought the little girl was feeding the zombies, but when I saw the burnt bodies I had to rethink it. I know think that the same person who burnt the bodies was also feeding the walkers. They are doing very good this season in leaving the audience room to use their imagination. I like how they had carl ask if he could kill the fence walkers (as if to make people wonder if he is feeding them so that he can help kill them). And how Glenn took a picture of Magi as if to make one wonder if one of them will die in the near future.

SPOILER.... MAYBE

In the comic doesn't Glenn get killed? How close are they to that happening here???

I don't particularly watch the show (werewolves, vampires, and zombies are three of my least favorite things), but you might recall something:
Lizzie Borden took an ax
And gave her mother forty whacks
And when the job was nicely done
She gave her father forty one
