Went to run an errand first and wow that is some wet snow coming down. I figure I'll be soaking wet in about 15 minutes. Some pretty good wind gusts too. Maybe not this time.
There not much I like better than being in the woods while it's snowing.

One thing I really miss about living in the Colorado mountains...being outdoors when it's snowing.
The world seems to quiet a bit when it snows. Enjoy it when it's not ridiculously cold or windy.
It’s pretty neat to walk the dogs after dark with a blanket of snow on the ground. Especially if the moon is out!
Is this snow, or just cold ash from Cali reaching us?
I was on the peak of Cameron Pass, Co. August 15, 2007, it started snowing on me. I stayed there for about an hour and it accumulated about 1 inch of snow, I had a Moose Cow for company and a few ground squirrels that were having a blast, many other birds and stuff. Snow flakes were about the size of a fifty cent piece. It felt like God had made it Snow just for me. One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. I have some video of it from a Nikon Camera I had with me somewhere on a thumb drive.
