What's his name and where is he located so others will know and can warn others from being scammed!!! I know of some people on facebook that flip cars like that. They never put the car in their name or get insurance. THey just get the car, keep it for a 2-3 weeks, maybe throw some money in it(tires/wheels, do a detail, etc) and then trade or sell for another.

If it were a scam he would have met you somewhere public instead of at his house. He probably forgot the title was screwed up or is just an idiot and needed the money so was hesitant to refund you. Do you still have the dealership name and UD number he used?

the last car I sold was met at a tag agency. Just for good measure on both sides.
