Comming from a guy that grew up below the bottom of the barrel.....a pot of beans lasted 2-3-4 days, pizza, 1 puny meal. Id eat anything that would make a semi formed turd. My pizza nite was ketchup on toast sprinkled with parmesan cheese n garlic powder.

Ummmm..... Proof? Are we talking foodstamps or cash assistance? There is a difference and both are placed on the same card.

Really? Casinos? I guess I have my head in the sand. Or I just don't visit casinos. I don't understand how buying fast food should be done on EBT.

You can't buy fast food on food stamps. Cash assistance yes, it works like a debit card.

EBT is a huge part of their target market. The pizza is not cooked so it qualifies for EBT....sad.

This. It's technically not fast food so it qualifies for foodstamps.


Technically everything qualifies for EBT though as EBT includes cash assistance funds, which can be taken out at an ATM or used as a debit card.


Foodstamps = EBT
EBT =! Foodstamps
The two terms are not interchangeable.

My ex bought pizza at papa murphys all the time. The reason being is you cant buy hot ready to eat food with foodstamps. Since papa murphys pizza is raw and uncooked its allowed.

WTF Lurker, you had PARMESAN!!!!!!!!!! Mom would sprinkle ours with potato flakes and tell us it was parmesan.

Yeah, we was poor, but we weren't hungry. and we weren't standing around looking for a hand out or complaining how nobody was helping us, we were WORKING to put food on the table.

EBT cards used to buy T-bones, cigs, lotto tickets ........... BS, the system sucks and it's time for a NEW system and that doesn't mean NWO.
