Picked up a couple of 12 gauge receivers the other day.
First one to get the ol' shade tree job will be this Squires Bingham Liberty Riot shotgun.
Majority of the parts will be here Friday so I'll have some updates fairly soon hopefully.
Probably gonna let the kiddos rattlecan it.

That's what the OEM ones were. Just a simple removable clamp.
Let me look in my parts bin. I might have one. I know I got one with my mag extension that I use for snow goose hunting. I hope that’s not the one I’m thinking of because I couldn’t let that one go but I’ll check

Oooohhh boy was this a stubborn barrel removal.
These have threaded in barrels. Marred up the barrel a bit when I had leather in the vice, it kept slipping. Since barrel has scars took the leather out and barrel came free and didn't get any new marks. Go figure.

Wrapped it up.
Used VHT chemical resistant drive train engine paint and clear coat on the barrel and receiver, very pleased with the results.
The tube we used Rust-Oleum black 2x and we have come to find out that that particular paint is best suited for furniture refinish and fence posts.
Went with a cheap little Amazon rechargeable light since this just fun project.
Also got some shotgun cards for it.
