Cell phones have ruined just getting through a green light when someone in front of you texts away the opportunity.

And add to that cars that turn off the engine at a stop and then on top of that you apply throttle and it is a little bit before the car takes off.
Lag time.
I hate it in newer vehicles and you never had lag time in a carbureted vehicle unless it was out of tune.

People that get into the driver seat of my Carbureted vehicles are not expecting the instant response they get when applying throttle.
They have grown accustomed to the lag of the new stuff.

Here is a sever case of lag time and of course a little bit of sleeping at the light I had to deal with while driving my 57 chevy 4 door.

REAL COOL
Man when you can see the difference without a start response timer you know that is slow. So that is you in the Chevy? If so I will subscribe, try to help out your viewer logarithm. Plus I would a lot rather watch someone's videos that I know a little bit about.
You ever heard of Blue Oval down in Mineral Wells, TX. He has some real cool early 70's Pony's. Youtube Blue Oval to check him out. If you are in Mineral Wells ever look him up, He loves to show his collection. It is well worth the trip.
Then you ever heard of Gene Gooch? He has passed on, but he was a local OKC boy, who Raced Chevy's for years starting on the streets, went on to NHRA. Was either a National President or a State President of the Corvette Car Club and possibly both, can't remember exactly on that. He was my Aunt's nephew. Back in the late 60's and 70's he would visit my Aunt frequently, would always have a New Chevy Muscle Car, and He would take us for rides. My Aunt bought one of his 1969 SS Chevy's that had a 396, Yellow with Two Black Stripes over the hood and top. Seems like it had an air induction system, can't recall. It was setup to be Quick and Fast. My Aunt would take us on trips to the grocery store and stuff in OKC, My cousin and I would sit in the back seat, lean up between the buckets waiting on Aunt Clara to get a front position at a Stop light next to another Muscle car, Pretty easy back then. Well you can imagine the rest of the story. I remember you could not stay leaned up to see the results. Good Times.

I agree on that starter deal, looks like a built in problem to cause early failure, for the starter, the air conditioner compressor, dry starts, let me think a minute, yes many problems with the engine stop feature. I would also suspect the gas savings and exhaust emissions they are supposed to be reducing are flawed too.
Besides that who doesn't love the smell of raw fuel and rubber burning on a good green light start. Whether you are on the track or not.

That is what I thought years ago about Harley Davidson motorcycles.
There were more than 10:1 of those for sale in the papers or bike trader than the Japan bikes.

I thought it was because people got those Harleys and wanted to be cool and get chicks and it did not work out in their favor.
I know of a couple people that bought them for that reason.

Now I see a lot of 7" or other short barrel AR barrels or complete "Pistols" for sale.

Could it be the same issue. You thought it would be cool and then found it was all hype and decided something more sensible fit the bill?

I held a buddies SBR and just can't get into it.
I do not think he likes it either as he never takes it out to play.
Closest I get to wanting an AR pistol is wanting a C-96 Mauser pistol. Found one at Gun World once, many years ago. It was $1400, and there was no way I could afford it. That situation has not really changed since then. Though I have since gathered a shop full of tools and some skills.

I feel the floor for a 5.56 pistol is 10.5”. Anything less is all show and not much go. The pistol thing is just the best way to get around the NFA penalty.

.300BLK in a pistol is the only one that makes sense to me. You can go short with supers and still have a gun that outperforms handguns and PCCs, without too much flash and blast. Add a compact can and you’re in really good shape for HD. It’s also a great gun for vehicle use.

That being said, It’s not my favorite to shoot. I put it in with my Glocks. They don’t excite me but they do make me feel secure. :)

Yea that is me and that is my wife taking the video on her camera and then my son posted it on his youtube.
No need to subscribe as I do not think he is into any of that.
I do not have a youtube and do not have a cell phone. Never did have a cell phone.

I do like to keep it simple and old school if i can but recently the entire neighborhood was forced to upgrade to ATT fiber and when it happened i could not get into my Yahoo E mail.
Still No e mail after a month and nothing Yahoo can do to get me in and they can't even get into it.

I may be forced to get a cell phone so i can get a new e mail.

I have heard of Gooch but not Blue Oval.
I usually keep to myself and friends though as I do not show my cars. I just like to drive them and use them. now and then a few buddies get together, go to the track for grudge night test and tune and see who is quicker :)

In your momma’s bedroom.
Every time they started the ‘Outlaw Evil Black Rifles’ popularity skyrocketed. Then the bottom falls out when politicians realize how many are out there

I totally agree with your assessment and also that if you want one you should be able to get one. If it fits someone's need or desire that's great. Just not my cup-o-tea.
Reminds me, we still need to get you shooting these with cans. The first time doing that was my epiphany. 16 in barrel with another 8 in of can, just isn’t as fun.
