there has to be a way to stop felons without hendering the law biding public. i would support a id card state issued to buy a gun from anyone

How about a micro-chip in the back of your trigger finger and an ID card issued by the federal government? That should stop all the felons from buying guns from other felons who got them by stealing them to begin with.

in the end all that has been said is A. keep freedoms or B. Less Freedom for false Safety. When is the last time gov. gun control worked for the people and not for the gov and criminals. if they want the guns they will still get them regardless of the laws that are passed

The only responsibility that goes along with rights is the negative responsibility to leave others alone to exercise theirs freely.
Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!!! You DO have a 1st Amendment right to free speech, but you CANNOT yell "Fire" in a crowded theater! Rights do come with certain responsibilities concerning their exercise. If you choose not to believe that, I see no point in continuing this dialogue.

FFL is not a person it's a business that is Federally Licensed and Governed; and it has no rights.

Persons do.

Why is this so hard to get through?
The US Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment applies to corporations as if they are persons. Corporations (i.e., businesses) have many of the same rights as "persons" do.

What do you mean "CANNOT" yell "Fire" - sure you can.

First of all there could be an actual fire - then not only you CAN you probably SHOULD.
Second - if you yell "Fire" as a form of political protest - then indeed you are protected by first Amendment and the only thing they can do is ask you to leave the business property.
Third - if you yell "whatever" for a sole reason of creating a panic - it really has to do nothing with speech, you can do it with actions and simple non-sense noises.

Do it then. Get a few dozen people killed in the resulting stampede. Stand up like a man and tell them you did it for the entertainment value alone. See if your 1st Amendment rights keep you out of jail.

The word "repeatedly" escape your understanding?
