All of this from a photograph of a slide on a computer screen posted on the internet by same rando claiming to be a Good Year employee.

Triggered!!! Let's boycott an American company that employs 10's of thousands of blue collar workers!!!

...and we laugh about sensitive snowflakes and cancel culture on the Left.

Y'all some knee jerking MF'ers.

Gotta fight back somehow.
Or we could just sit and take it.

I'm open to other ways of letting Goodyear know this is not acceptable.

Missing the point entirely. You're threatening to boycott an American company that employs a ton of American workers, including Oklahomans, because of a picture off the internet.

No confirmation? No independent verification of the claim? No examination of the facts behind the "incident" in question, no verification of where the picture came from, who posted it, or where the alleged slideshow came from? Nothing? Just "OH NOES GOODYEAR SUCKS!!!".

Don't get more triggered or snowflake than that.

Here, but occasionally There.
Well, I might get flamed, but then, I don't really care.

Our RV, which is also our home for the last 9 years, has Goodyear tires on it. In the past, Goodyear has been excellent in working with people who had their tires on their RV's, even to the point of repairing the RV's if a tire damaged the vehicle when it blew out. (By the way, we don't hear of a lot of blow-outs on the RV forums.)

When one is looking at tires for one's RV, it is good to consider the actual age of the tire because tires can "age out." We had that happen with tires on our Ford F450. The tread and sidewalls all looked good, but there were cracks between the treads. Those tires were about the limit that they claim for tires, which is 7 years old. The Goodyear tires on our RV are 10 years old and there is absolutely no evidence of cracking either on the sidewalls or between the treads. They will be replaced, but only because of their age, and they will be replaced with the exact same model of tire.

Point taken, I'm guilty of jumping in too soon sometimes.
But it seems we do have some confirmation; Goodyear responding and not really denying that the slide is theirs.
