Oh, that's nice! I trust the "CHAMPION" on the side is original? What's the approximate age/era? I ask because my great-great grandfather's Champion .410 bore doesn't have that on the right side.
Like your left side, it just has
"IVER JOHNSON'S
ARMS & CYCLE WORKS
FITCHBURG, MASS U.S.A.
CHAMPION"

Yes, you are GOOD. I've always admired color case on vintage firearms, and yours is fine as any I've seen, and a LOT prettier than most.

Cool! Do you use leather/bone or cyanide? Do you quench in an oil and water mixture or just water?
