Actually this is just a sample piece to test the kiln and dunk water with a new setup.

This is a $200 finish on a $100 gun.

I was PM'd with "what is it?"

It is an Iver Johnson single shot reciever called a Champion.
This one is for a 16 ga that I have had for years.
Iver Johnson single shot shotguns are not valuable guns, most of them sell in the $100 range on Gunbroker

What I did to it is called "Color Case Harden" It surface hardens the surface and leaves a rainbow of colors behind.

Just use it as a display to show what color case hardening looks like.

Do that to a Glock slide. Or Glock frame, if you're really good.
