Never been to a gun show. Wanted to go to the last Wanenmacher, but ended up quitting my job a couple of weeks prior, and without anything lined up, didn't want to spend any money. Gonna try to go this year.

Wife is looking forward for things to get me it of her hair for a day so yes, she is encouraging me to go this year, spend the whole day….
It used to be a good place to stock up on components at good prices, but anymore you can find better deals on the interwebs.Appreciate the offer but after spending all my spare change on 45ACP reloading components I doubt that I could scrape up enough $$$ to afford the gas up and back....it's hell being poor.

From my experience a lot cool gun stuff, as for vendors selling guns and good deals...ehh...I think I find better deals online. I want to go every year but end up not going.
I've been going for over 30 years, any I've missed maybe 8 times. I normally go on Sunday because there are fewer tire kickers, and I think the deals are better.

As someone who has attended many gun shows in other states and Oklahoma I Ihave found that Wanenmacher offers something the rest don't have, expensive high end shotguns, pistols and rifles. If you go to the right tables you can find vendors selling goods well into 6 figures that are extremely rare (and for those seeking out said firearms not unreasonably priced.) As for the more utilitarian firearms, meh. Last year looked like glockfest 2023.
