Why is that?


The lead is fully encapsulated. Less /no lead, no smoke from lube in the air. A problem in indoor ranges.

$$$$$$ PC is cheaper per bullet than jacketed. You stated in OP "What would yall pick, given SAME costs? I've not loaded many powder coated bullets," cast bullets, lubed or PC. Jacketed bullets are expensive.

The only jacketed bullets I shoot are self defense, and then, it isn't 100%.

Shooting PC bullets can leave the barrel cleaner than it was.
