Have an old trailer frame laying around? Maybe a 5x8-5x10? Rotted out deck, solid metal, busted tires? Its perfect. I don't even need the axle or tires. Simply a frame. Hit me up and lets talk.

Then a basic flat frame won't add much to your cost compared to buying one. I'd start from scratch, so everything will be square/level and have solid welds.View attachment 197804
Looking to make something like this. I am considering the HF trailers, but am concerned about durability. I would also be cutting off the sides and replacing wheels/tires/axle with my own, which is a lot of waste.

You haven't seen my welding skills, or lack thereof. I am also in short supply in regards to working space, and short a welder. If I had some space and a welder, maybe a little guiding help, I would love to diy the frame. Then a basic flat frame won't add much to your cost compared to buying one.
