Have an old trailer frame laying around? Maybe a 5x8-5x10? Rotted out deck, solid metal, busted tires? Its perfect. I don't even need the axle or tires. Simply a frame. Hit me up and lets talk.

Also, if anyone knows of a manufacturer/shop/person in the Oklahoma area that will make/does make 5x8 or 5x10 trailer frames I would love to get their info.

This guy used to make them I get my parts from him.
https://commercial-trailers-parts-inc.business.site/

I used to make 5x12's But angle iron went up and up and I quit.
This was before the big casino was built off I40 past Harrah rd.

I was paying $8.50 for a 20 foot stick of 2 x 2 x 3/16 angle iron.
That is over 30 bucks a stick now.

Your best bet it to search craigslist or offer up for a cheaper than you can build one trailer

Looking to make something like this. I am considering the HF trailers, but am concerned about durability. I would also be cutting off the sides and replacing wheels/tires/axle with my own, which is a lot of waste.

Then a basic flat frame won't add much to your cost compared to buying one. I'd start from scratch, so everything will be square/level and have solid welds.

As usual, just my 2¢ ... :drunk2:

You haven't seen my welding skills, or lack thereof. I am also in short supply in regards to working space, and short a welder. If I had some space and a welder, maybe a little guiding help, I would love to diy the frame.
