Stopped by there yesterday. They are just east of German Corner in Owasso. They had some nice looking knives and are really nice folks. Anyone familiar with their work? Looks like decent prices for Damascus blades, don't know about quality though.
I also wonder about quality. A bunch of there stuff is in the $50.00-75.00 range. I can't buy a decent damascus blank to make knife from for less than about $125.00 and they quickly go up from there.
Just my opinion but I thinka lot of it is Pakistany stuff.
There has to be a catch, right? I don't see how anyone can hand make a knife from damascus with a sheath and sell it for less than half of what the rest of us makers would pay for the steel only. If it holds an edge and you like the look then maybe you are getting a deal. If you want a high quality damascus blade be prepared to pay much, much more.
Yeah I am delivering a knife tomorrow that just the damascus for the 7 1/2 inch blade cost me over $120.00 and its not even stainless damascus.
