Very nice. I know of a few other places with right away like that. Wish I could convince them to start up a range.
I was shooting factory 250gr Hornady ammo.
Did you tag the repair man? J/K Sweet spot to shoot. That 338 is about as cheap as .22 federal, right?
The ammo I shot cost about $4.50 per round. I got a smoking deal on the package from stewball (dude rules) so it didn't theoretically cost me that much. When I start rolling my own (soon I'm almost out of boolets) it will cost me about 97 cents a round for the first 1000 rounds or so. I got the bullets dirt cheap for 338 bullets.
Reloading that round is definitely the way to go, not to mention you can pick the bullet you want.
Not until I rebarrel. I'm running 1-12". When the time comes it'll have a 1-9.3" barrel that should do well with the 300s.
