The factory barrels now are 1-10. Some 1-10s will shoot the 300s, but I want a little faster for insurance on my can. I don't need a 300 grain pill going 3000 fps going through it sideways. My rifle is like 3 years old.

The muzzle works a hair better for recoil, but yes, from open muzzle, reduced recoil, NOISE, but no change in accuracy that I've noticed. The TITAN makes the full power 338 quieter than most if not all 308 cans on 308 guns.
