I want to take my new girlfriend to a local range to shoot my pistols and hopefully my AR. Are there any local ranges where I could do this for an hour or two without a membership? Sunday or Monday. Just trying to teach her some basic pistol handling and she's never shot a rifle.

I would be happy to pay for the one time use if needed. Prefer an outside range like where we shoot IDPA, etc.

2A Shooting center at yale and admiral. Its an indoor range but you can shoot just about anything you want there http://www.2ashootingcenter.com/ $12 per person (small discount if you share a lane). Great facilities and the staff are real cool.

An outdoor range I go to that doesn't require membership is Happy Hollow, 5 miles west of Sapulpa, about a 25 min drive. They have rifle and pistol lanes and is $10 per person. The only thing I don't like about it is that the owner only allows slow fire (couple seconds between shots), so no rapid engagement practice but they are nice folks. My favorite thing about Happy Hollow (don't know if you are interested in it or not) is their 5-stand trap range, $5 for 25 birds and someone will control the throwers for you, however you want them thrown. http://www.happyhollowgunrange.com/

Hope this helps.
