I’ll support youMaybe if I need some gun parts, I’ll offer a neighborhood gun buy back and see what I can score. Might be able to fix other member’s guns too, who knows.
This happened with the Seattle gun buyback. The guns were supposed to go to the steel milk to be melted into a plaque for the "victims of gun violence" the plaque was never made as the guns got misplaced and made into rebar with the rest of the steel. My understanding is the buyback guns have to be destroyed. If they just took them to the scrap yard intact most would sprout legs and climb into lunch boxes and coat pockets.
Specialists have to handle the destruction and the know destruction means cutting up the frame. Everything else is salvageable and gets marketed by outfits like “any gun part . Com”.
Transplants from one gun can fix multiple guns.
Net result is the total number of functional guns in circulation increases and the purse of the anti gun crowd shrinks.
Politics and reality don’t always match
Imagine working at the steel mill and a bunch of guns show up...Yeah they misplaced them but know they got melted down into rebar? These libs are beyond insane.
Does it work? PM meHmmm too bad I missed it, I've got an old damascus double barreled shotgun that I'd like to get rid of.
