Tulsa Tax hike starting October 1st 2011

Add .85% to retail purchases in Tulsa come October 1st...

Good gosh.

Instead of 8.52% it will be 9.37%

Did i miss the vote on this or what?

I need to look at this, according to your second link, it is supposed to stay @ 8.517% (8.52%)

So I could be wrong about the 9.37%

One tax is being dropped, and a new one is being added. So for the record. Tulsa tax is remaining 8.517%

Here is the deal. Tulsa County is dropping there sales tax and the City of Tulsa is raising there's the exact same amount, so those that buy outside of City limits but inside the County, you should see a tax decrease.
