Lots of What Ifs about the game but the bottom line is the OSU defense didn't stop them on 4th down and take possession of th ball.

The game was decided on OSUs possession where they had 3 tries to get a TD from the TX 5 and the 4th and 10 that TX converted. Still a really good game.
Anyone feel OSU shoulda gave tx the td on that last drive with a minute left so they would have a minute to score?
I tend to agree. Gundy got very conservative and ran on 2nd and 3rd down when they should have tried something different. They hadn't slowed Tejas down, I believe there 3 down conversion rate was around 80%. Hard to win games like that unless your offense scores 70.
As an OSU alum, it's good to know things are back to normal: impressive offense, lousy defense.

Not necessarily, they got in on the 3rd down IIRC. They woulda just kicked the ball for a fg and won the game.
That's not what I said. If the official sees the loose ball, the call is OSU recovery. Texas is out of chances then.
Sorry you're right. Did we recover it? I was at the game but I honestly couldn't tell. I didn't think they crossed the line, but i didn't see the fumble.
