Just inherited an old 03-a3 serial number 4 million plus it is in great condition. Has RA and RJA on stock.just trying to learn more about. It is not for sale. Just curious about it. Should I download the rounds lighter than current factory? What powder do some of you guys use etc.
I would use a recipe for M2 ball ammo. Most reloading books have that information.

Then there's this:

Enjoy your rifle!

Pretty sure the original load for the 1903 Springfield was with h4350 and a 150 grain spritzer. Don’t know about the 03A3 as I shoot cast in mine…..which is a two groove. Probably be easier to look in your manual and use anything from a 150-168 grain bullet. What powders do you have in your inventory?
